March 1, 2026 – Barcelona, Spain – Xiaomi Corporation hosted a global new product launch event in Barcelona recently, unveiling nine innovative products covering smartphones, tablets, smart wearables, audio devices and mobility tools, demonstrating the brand’s strong technical strength and diverse product layout in the 3C digital field.
The highlight of the event was the Xiaomi 17 series smartphones, the latest masterpieces co-developed with Leica. Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Ultra Gen5 chip, the Xiaomi 17 delivers powerful performance, paired with a 50-megapixel triple-camera system including ultra-wide-angle, main and telephoto lenses to meet users’ shooting needs in various scenarios. The main camera adopts the upgraded Light Hunter 995 image sensor, supporting 2x optical zoom and 5x telephoto optical zoom, while the front camera is also upgraded to 50 megapixels with auto-focus, forming a luxurious configuration of 50-megapixel cameras on both the front and rear.
In terms of display, the Xiaomi 17 features a 6.3-inch customized M10 OLED panel. The improved red sub-pixel material not only enhances the display effect but also effectively reduces power consumption, with a peak brightness of 3500 nits, supporting 120Hz high refresh rate and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for an enhanced user experience. For heat dissipation, Xiaomi’s 3D "Ice Ring" cooling system is three times more effective than traditional vapor chambers, delivering excellent performance in high-frame-rate games.
Other notable launches include the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, the brand’s thinnest Pro tablet at 5.0mm thick and 485g weight, with an 11.2-inch 3.2K display and 144Hz refresh rate; the Xiaomi Watch 5 integrated with Google Gemini for natural language interaction; and the Redmi Buds 8 Pro with 55dB active noise cancellation. Xiaomi also showcased its first VGT concept car, Xiaomi Vision GT, which will make its physical debut at MWC 2026, marking the brand’s exploration in the intelligent mobility field.
