Global Demand for Wireless Charging 3C Devices Surges by 35% in 2025

March 25, 2026 – New York, USA – A new report released by Grand View Research, a leading global market research firm, shows that the global demand for 3C devices with wireless charging functionality surged by 35% in 2025 compared to the previous year, driven by the popularization of wireless charging technology, improved charging efficiency and the increasing consumer demand for convenient charging experiences.

The report points out that smartphones account for the largest share of the wireless charging 3C device market, with a proportion of 68%, followed by tablets (15%) and smart wearables (12%). Major 3C brands such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi and OPPO have fully integrated wireless charging technology into their flagship and mid-range products, further boosting market demand. For example, Apple’s iPhone 16 series supports 27W MagSafe wireless charging, while Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series offers 45W wireless charging, significantly reducing charging time.

Another key driver is the improvement of wireless charging infrastructure. Public places such as cafes, airports, hotels and shopping malls have gradually installed wireless charging pads, making wireless charging more accessible to consumers. In addition, the emergence of magnetic wireless charging accessories, such as wireless charging cases and car mounts, has further expanded the application scenarios of wireless charging technology in 3C devices.

Industry experts predict that the global wireless charging 3C device market will continue to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 28% from 2026 to 2030. With the continuous advancement of technology, wireless charging efficiency is expected to be further improved, and the charging distance will be extended, which will bring more innovations to the 3C digital industry and change consumers’ usage habits.
